Since 2013, Ill-Studio has used Instagram as a field of experimentation letting spontaneous ideas prevail over bigger commissioned projects.

Along with the redesign of Converse’s global image, Ill-Studio led the creative direction for the brand’s Fall 2018 global campaign.
Focusing on the Chuck as a tool to enable movement and self-expression, Ill-Studio commissioned photographer Benedict Brink to visually translate the undercurrent relationship between Converse and youth cultures through spontaneous scenarios.

To mark their 95th anniversary, French fashion magazine L’Officiel appointed Ill-Studio as creative director to take over and rethink the magazine’s identity as whole. The new identity was thought and conceived as a combination between the magazine’s long history, a creative look on fashion and contemporary visual codes.
Conceived and published by Ill-Studio in 2014, Neapolis is a subjective attempt to connect the dots and explore the imprint left in our lives by skateboarding as teenagers, through a selection of works and reflections from artists, authors and photographers.
A journey through images, essays and interviews from fields as diverse as Architecture, Contemporary Arts, Choreography, Youth Studies and the Sociology of risk.
