Soulwax transient program for drums and machinery is an installation imagined by Soulwax and Ill-Studio, built for performance and operated by seven musicians. The mono and polyphony frequency instruments used for this performance are all positioned on a giant rug, representing the electronic schematic of the installation.
Between 2016 and 2018, this installation travelled around Europe, America and Asia, from Coachella in Palm Springs
to Royal Festival Hall in London.

To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Carhartt WIP invited Ill-Studio to imagine and curate an exhibition about the past, present and future of the brand. Rather than using a chronological approach, Ill-Studio imagined a giant installation at St Agnes in Berlin, a brutalist church turned art gallery.
The exhibition was a mix of iconic pieces of the brand’s history together with curated cultural artefacts and new works made specially for the occasion.

Ill-Studio was appointed to design the footwear and music departments of the fashion store Boontheshop in Seoul in 2016.
Originally designed by Peter Marino, the renewal of both spaces was based on the idea of making different generic environments collide : recording studios, gymnasiums, laboratories, construction sites.

In 2014, The Dewaele brothers appointed Ill-Studio art directors for their ambitious new project Deewee. More than a record label, Deewee is a building, a studio, a label, a record collection and a publishing house.
The first series of records released between 2014 and 2017 was conceived as an overall body of work inspired by classic encyclopedia collections and iconic library music labels.
Created in 2013, Full Circle is a virtual band by Ill-Studio, Alexis Le-Tan and Joakim. Wonderz of the World is the third release of the band, and is a curated collection of pitched-down (33 rpm) Goa Trance forgotten records, specially edited for the occasion.
