“Playmaker“ is a work by Ill-Studio, produced with the help of Nike, establishing a parallel between the work of French artist Henry Matisse and the free-role of football’s attacking midfielders being central pivots between offensive and defensive players (Post-Impressionism and Modernism) through their superior vision, technical skills, control and creativity.
Following a global collaboration with Soulwax, Ill-Studio signed the creative direction for the fourth-coming album of Stephen and David Dewaele. The front cover showcases a silver version of a AKG 99c binaural microphone from 1975 used to record the album at Deewee Studio.

To mark their 95th anniversary, French fashion magazine L’Officiel appointed Ill-Studio as creative director to take over and rethink the magazine’s identity as whole. The new identity was thought and conceived as a combination between the magazine’s long history, a creative look on fashion and contemporary visual codes.
Ill-Studio designed exclusive merchandise such as sweatshirts, t-shirts and accessories for Soulwax’s “Transient Program and Machinery“ tour between 2016 and 2018.
This film directed by Ill-Studio for Soulwax treats the title “Do You Want To Get Into Trouble” through the spectrum of adolescent life and its numerous aspects such as body image, attraction for risk, sex, new technologies, emotional change, sub-culture and rebellion.
The film stars French actor Phénix Brossard.
