Geodesic Dome is a sculptural work by Ill-Studio exhibited in
Paris in 2008. Ill-Studio imagined a fictional encounter between designer Rei Kawakubo and architect Richard Buckminster Fuller.
At the occasion of 2010 soccer World Cup in South Africa, Ill-Studio was appointed by Nike to transform its Parisian gallery into a temple celebrating the game of soccer.
The goal of this book was to present part of the "raw inspiration material" used by Ill-Studio team between 2007 and 2010 for creative purposes.
This material covers all kinds of fields and moments such as art, fashion, music, architecture, literature, geography, science, and popular culture regardless of its origin, importance or meaning. Each reference was archived in visual form as a catalogue of not-so-general knowledge that is key to Ill-Studio’s creative process, whether in a central manner or as an Ariadne's thread leading to yet another idea.
Video montage from the KU archives shot between 1982 and 1987, using an original fairlight CMI (Computer musical instrument).
Made for the Untold Eivissa exhibition in Paris, conceived and curated as a partnership between Ill-Studio and 2ManyDjs
